This is my husband's favorite. It was so good. This might be the best tasting shrimp I have ever tasted. The brisket had such a delicious stewed flavor. The rice was simple enough to be our favorite rice. The service was great. The atmosphere was great.

Had the taco salad and my sister had the steak fajitas. So freaking good. Place is small but does have a patio

DONT WALK ! RUNNNNN TO El Patron !!!! I ordered the Alex burrito … sheeeshhhh I’ve never had a burrito so good! My first time being to El Patron was 3 days ago & I’ve been twice Let’s not mention their margaritas !!! THEIR MARGARITAS ARE A MUST HAVE !!! They’re strong but a good strong ! Their staff are very hospitable & welcoming! 10 out of 10 all around!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in KC. Check out their rooftop patio in the summer, and get the shrimp tacos. You will not be disappointed! Margaritas are excellent too, not too sweet and I confirmed no simple syrup or agave syrup is used in their standard margs. So good!

And today you get free vitamin D if you sit outside. The cactus tacos were awesome.

Our server was great and really patient. I take forever to order, what with the chatting, munching on chips and salsa, and sipping margaritas. Oh! And I got a wild hair and ordered fried ice cream (which was the best I've EVER had), and he threw it in complimentary. I actually tried two new dishes, and I'd order both of them again! The chile relleno didn't look like one I'd ever had before, but was delicious. I chose the verde sauce and got it on the side. It was tasty, but I was glad it wasn't completely smothered in it. I was in the mood for Carne Asada, but the ARRACHERA ASADA sounded closer to what I actually wanted. It was fabulous! The steak was really tender, and all of the accoutrement was spot on. You get choice of corn tortillas, flour or both. They were both scrumptious. I love this place, but the one drawback is the acoustics are terrible and it can get really loud.

Incredible Mexican food!! I grew up on this type of food so quality is always a requirement. The service is attentive, the food comes out fast, and it’s absolutely delicious I tried the chicken mole but, to quote a random customer, “everything is good.” The only downside were the drinks which had a weird aftertaste (could’ve been the mix they use or their house liquor). However, it was happy hour, so you get what you pay for.

Food was excellent!! Had a great dinner with my mom and grandma! I had chicken fajitas with a strawberry Margarita. The margarita was really strong but still really good! Had an excellent experience and I will be back!!!
